Veterinary services for the Federal Capital Territory
The Department of Veterinary Services sits within the FCT Agriculture & Rural Development Secretariat (ARDS) and is responsible for animal health, disease control, and food-safety inspection across the Federal Capital Territory. Field teams work out of clinics in each of the six Area Councils, running vaccination drives, health camps, and surveillance activities alongside their routine caseload.
This site exists to make that field work visible. Every photo you see here was uploaded by a member of staff on the day it was taken, tagged to the programme and Area Council it belongs to. The impact dashboard totals are collated the same way — from individual submissions reviewed and approved before they count toward the public figures.
